Care Tips
All the inside seams are overlocked, because who wants to deal with pesky threads floating around? Overlocked seams also make the cushion more durable so it will last and last. An invisible zip is sewn along the bottom of the cushion (sewn with a touch of smugness, for I have mastered the art of zipper sewing *bows and waves with queenly grace) with a matching color to the cushion.
Insert Tips – For an extra snuggly cushion choose a larger size insert than then cover, as it will fill the cover more and make lazing around all the more enjoyable. I have found that folding the insert in half when putting it in the cover is so. much. easier. than trying to just shove the cushion in. Once the folded insert is inside the cover it is super easy to let go, let it unfold, then poke it into the corners. The days of battling cushions into covers is over!
Care Tips - If you spill your coffee over the cushion in excitement when Mr Darcy asks Elizabeth to dance, fret not. The covers can be thrown into a gentle wash of 30°. Please take care not to bleach or put them in the dryer as I fear that they will never be the same again :( A cool iron on the reverse side will take of any wrinkles that the wash created, use the nifty trick to put the insert back in and you are all set to watch Mr Darcy propose…. and get shot down in a puff of pride and a blaze of prejudice.
